Sherri Hollaender lives and works in New York City. Her work has been exhibited in the US, England, India, Japan and Malaysia. She has received fellowship grants from The Ford Foundation, The MacDowell Colony, The Hambidge Center for the Arts, The Helen Wurlitzer Foundation, The Ucross Foundation, and Sanskriti Kendra.

She has been teaching drawing and design at The New School University, Parson’s School of Design since 1992 - Present.

She frequently travels to and works in India.
